Do you consider yourself a boss or a leader? Do you know the difference? Do you think there is a difference? There is one, trust me. After you read this lets see what your take on it is and maybe you can define which one you are. Everyone wants to be a boss, but all people NEED a leader in life. A boss thinks they know everything already, meanwhile a leader is always open to learning more. Leaders are focused on growth and always wanting to seek more knowledge. Bosses sometimes might believe they are at their peak and think people aspire to be in their position. Bosses TALK, leaders LISTEN. Bosses enforce things and give you the answers and leaders help you find solutions, understand the problem and make sure you fully grasp the concept. Now, maybe you might agree with this next one or maybe not. Bosses criticize and leaders encourage. Don't get me wrong constructive criticism is key and everyone needs to hear it. But constantly pointing out flaws and wrong-doings can make a person want to disengage themselves. It can do something to their mental as well depending on the situation. Leaders notice natural gifts while bosses point out weaknesses. Just think about the people that realize more of the bad you do than the good. What category would you put them in? Being a boss does not always mean that you are leading. It may be very rewarding but being a leader is a characteristic everyone doesn't display and possibly will never become. Some people are meant to lead and some people are just great followers. And a select few are the bosses "shot callers". With that being said... which one are you? Do you call the shots or are you an inspiring person that helps bring out the best in others? This is a serious question to ask yourself. You know yourself better than anyone else.
side bar: ( at the end of the day, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with being the boss and not a leader, they cut the checks anyway)😂😂😂
