I can imagine that people have talked about you before. Positive and negative things could have been said. The real question is... if you were able to know every single rumor someone said about you, would you want to? For me, it would be a yes and no. I would love to know how people really feel about me and what has been said behind my back. Knowing how much of it is actually true would be interesting too. But that might not be so healthy for your spirit. I also say "no" because that could fuck up my mental health. I'd be in my feelings all the time! There are two good reasons why we don't know what everyone thinks and says about us. 1) Some people are not built to tell it like it is, 2) Whatever people think of us is not our business. Now when I say "people are not built to tell it like it is" I don't mean people being scared to say something to your face. I mean instead of getting involved with the drama of telling you...they tell someone else that they know will keep it private because it is something they want to discuss for whatever reason. They are confiding into someone to keep a secret. We've all been there before or been that person to receive information that you better not share with anyone else. (so let's not act like you never gossiped a little before.😬) It is also true that people's opinions of you is not your business. It is normal for it to be your concern. But just because its about you doesn't mean you have a right to know. Sounds fucked up right? You probably don't agree with that statement. Shoot, I dont even agree with that. But I feel like its true. Its about you, yes! Its also a conversation between people that is NOT including you which means it is not your conversation and not your business. Makes sense right? Now after reading this, would you still want to know everything others have said behind your back- positive and negative?🤔 Think about it!
