I can speak for a lot of people when I say there are things we want to change in the past because of the outcome. I think that proves that you are human and have a working conscience. REALITY CHECK🚨: YOU SHOULD NEVER REGRET ANY DECISION YOU HAVE EVER MADE! Oh you cheated on a test and received a failing grade, you wore casual clothes to an interview instead of business attire and you didn't get the job or you cheated in your relationship and lost the love of your life? DON'T REGRET ANY OF IT! Okay, cheating in a relationship is bad and I don't recommend that one, but you get my drift. Every decision you make gives you the opportunity to create your own path. Most times we are put in situations when we have to respond quickly. Quick thinking causes us to not fully be aware of what impact our decision has. Basically you act on impulse. Just because you reacted super soon doesn't mean it was something you didn't want to happen or you wouldn't have done it. "Bad" decisions also help us master self-forgiveness. Usually we are the hardest on ourselves when we make "bad" choices. You have to realize you won't always make perfect decisions in your everyday life. Accept your human imperfection, forgive yourself and move forward. It is impossible to know what you want until you have encountered what you don't want. So we literally have to make mistakes anyway to help us mold who we are. Don't regret them either! You will not notice light without darkness. You will not have courage if you didn't face fear. You know the saying "If the door closes, there is always a window" or something like that? When you go through something tasking, embrace it. Eventually everything will fall through. That is what builds character. Every decision you ever made results in a gift. Whether it is a lesson, blessing or experience it is still a gift. But, it will go without saying....you will most likely continue to make "bad" choices. Just be careful and realize what the outcome could be. But don't regret it at all!☝🏾
