Between males and females I believe that females have more body image issues than males. Everything I think that attracts a man may not be everything I am. I can blame social media, models and the video vixens for this one! Before the 2000's the ideal woman was skinny, small waist, small assets and a nice face. Boy has it changed! Nowadays "slim thick" and an hourglass body is the new wave and that is almost every girl's goal. And some women do fulfill it. Whether it involves plastic surgery or extensive body workouts they get it done! This is what molds us to think "oh yes I want to look like them". Which is not a problem because these women were already beautiful before the body enhancements so they are like perfect now that they have that huge butt or double D's and a small waist. But it becomes a problem when it decreases the confidence of a woman and you feel like you are not enough because you don't look like them.(And if you are just "slim thick" without any effort God bless you.🙌🏽) In reality women are built with different shapes and sizes. Some of us have pancake butts, and "A" cup boobs and some of us have love handles and double chins and a fatty pouch. But the women on the internet that men are attracted to don't have that. And it gets like that sometimes.🤷🏽♀️ But males are not that stupid. Yeah they like big assets but I do not think they actually will let a body determine whether they want to pursue a really dope woman. Now I am guilty of doing those YouTube booty workouts. Its completely normal to want to see if I can get that pokey figure. Trust me, I'm still waiting to see some improvement. 😅But, its simply for the fun of it, not because I plan to get surgery later on in life. Actually, I considered it for a quick minute. Then I saw killer curves on BET 🤮 and said nahhh. (Check it out.) Personally, I have the body of a boy.. if you know you know.😂 But I learned to like my body. I actually would like to be skinnier but the way my motivation to exercise is right now😬....ask me in a few months. Always remember If I learned to love my body you can too! And if it ever becomes too hard just thank God you are not 6 feet tall!! And if you are girl hit me up I need some tall friends 😂 and I can help build that self esteem up sista!
